Introduction
Plugin Editor is a GUI tool for user to config Modbus plugin's settings, it can help you to editing Coil, Discrete Input, Input Register and Holding Register settings of Modbus Plugin.
Scope
Support Modbus Plugin v2.0 Coil, Discrete Input, Input Register and Holding Register.
How to
Installation
Download Plugin Editor V2.0.x Installer and double click on the installer to start the installation.
Start Program
After installation, you can start Plugin Editor from Windows Start menu.
Open settings
1.Click "File" from menu bar and select "Open" to select setting file.
2.Select your setting file and click "Open" button to open the file.
3.After your file and it's relate files are loaded, you can see the settings are showed at Plugin Editor.
Add settings
1.Click "Add" to create new sensor settings.
2.Fill in the settings for your new sensor. after finished, click "Add" to confirm the creation.
3. Now, you can see a new row is added into the sensor list.
Modify settings
1. Select sensor and click "Detail" at the row you like to edit.
2. Edit your settings. after setting is changed, click "Close" to finish.
3. You can see the change is showed in sensor grid.
Delete settings
1. To delete sensor, first select the sensor you like to delete.
2. Click "Detail" to make sure the sensor you like to delete, then click "Delete" to delete the sensor.
3. To delete all sensor and device settings, click "Delete" on main screen.
Save settings
1.Click "File" from menu bar and select "Save" to save the settings to file.
2. Select a file or a new file name you like to save.
Release
This is an overview that displays Plugin Editor versions and some stats and numbers for each release.
