Latest Stable Release

We are excited to announce the release of the latest firmware version, v3.0.0, for DeviceOn/ePaper Solution. This firmware update brings significant enhancements and new features, further improving the performance, stability, and functionality of our product. Feature 1: [EPD-23x/33x] Support FTP with Explicit SSL (FTPES) to improve the security of image transmission

Feature 2: [EPD-23x/33x] Support for scheduling the “data request” and “state report” period that gives users greater flexibility to control wake-up time and improve power consumption.

Feature 3: New icon displays low battery conditions that let users can quickly identify low-battery devices

Feature 4: [EPD-66x] Support for device time synchronization and wake-up time configuration gives users greater application flexibility.

Feature 5: [EPD-23x/33x] Support for controlling the frequency of LED flashes to deliver customized LED reminder behavior

Enhancements

Enhancement 1: Device OTA improvements to reduce failure rate

Enhancement 2: Modified to not retry tasks when device is low battery to improve performance

Enhancement 3: EPD Device supports continuous task processing to improve processing speed

Enhancement 4: [EPD-23x/33x] Modified LED off when refreshing image to improve power consumption

Enhancement 5: [EPD-66x] Improved EPD Device abnormal handling and reporting to DeviceOn/ePaper Server, making it easier for users to manage devices

In addition to these key features, the v3.0.0 release includes several bug fixes and performance optimizations. We have closely listened to customer feedback and have addressed reported issues to ensure a smoother and more reliable user experience.

Compatibility

Please note that v3.0.0 RESTful API is compatible with DeviceOn/ePaper Solution models released in 2022.H2. If you have an older model and require assistance or information regarding compatibility, our support team will gladly provide the necessary guidance.
