快速入門 (Quick Start)

SW1

• SW1(1-off,2-on) : eMMC boot
• SW1(1-on,2-on) : UFS boot

SW2

• SW2(1-on): Forced Recovery
• SW2(1-off): Normal Boot
• SW2(2-on): AT mode
• SW2(2-off):ATx mode

燒錄方法 (Flash eMMC Method)

 ROM-2860 Windows installation method

1. Prepare a windows PC, Installed 7zip.
2. Use 7z decompress rom2860_image_ADV0.5.5.7z (Password is 12345678)
3. Install QUD.WIN.1.1 Installer_10065.1 1.zip
4. Use micro USB cable downing image to ROM-2860.

5.Turn off the power, Change ROM-2860 SW2 to 1 on and 2 on for download mode, then turn on the power.

6.Then Press SW4 button.

7.You can see QDloader (COMXX) in Device manager(In your laptop or PC)

8. Execute burnimage.bat COMXX

Note: When you execute the bat file . need to “press any key” by three time (you can ignore the message

9. Need to wait 1 or 2 hours (depend on your pc )

10. If the process fails, it will display the error screen (red screen).

11.If the process successes , it will show “ the operation completed successfully” , then turn off the power 

12. Disconnect with ROM-2860

13. Change Switch(SW2)  to 1 off 2 on , then turn on the power

14. Re-plug the power.
 

15. After turn the power , press SW4 

16. Connect with HDMI or DP , Its start to boot up from windows OS.

 

 

通用測試(General Method) 

Com port Test : 

1. Download : MiniComm.exe 

2. Connect the COM PORT on the machine to another machine

3. Open CMD with admin privileges and type in "MinComm.exe -list"

    command : MiniComm.exe -list 

4. Type "MinComm.exe <device_path> baud=115200 parity=n data=8 stop=1"

5. Select "\\?\ACPI#QCOM0E16#b # {86e0d1e0-8089-11d0-9ce4-08003e301f73}" 

5. Open Putty.exe or Tera Term on the other machine, select "serial",  COM*, and enter "115200"and save 

6. From ARM side, type words and check if the other machine can receive correctly.

7. From the other x86 machine side, type words  and check if ARM can receive correct words.
