AOM-3821 on AOM-DB3500 Usering bootup sd disk made by SDDiskTool.

一、Create“update.img”

First, extract the image file, and then use the RKTool tool to generate the "update.img" .

Make an SD card (for example: A laptop with Windows 10 PC, system: 22H1)

File.Open the RKTool tool in the following link, as shown in the picture below.

Double-click the folder "AOM3821A1AIM38DIV110067_2025-06-16 \ rockdev" within "mkupdate. Bat" to run the program, to generate "update. Img" file.

Please install the DriverAssitant_v5.13 driver first.  Double-click the "DriverInstall.exe" program as shown in the following figure.

After successful installation, click "Confirm" and exit the program

Change Tool language in config.ini, please change "Selected: to "2".

Prepare a Mirco SD card of 8GB (for example: 32GB) or more and insert it into the PC. Open the following path and double-click "SD_Firmware_Tool.exe".

The Mirco SD card has been successfully produced. After clicking "Confirm", exit the program. Remove the Mirco SD card from the PC.

二、Upgrade or Recovery AOM-3821

1. Power off AOM-3821.
2. Insert the upgrade SD card to AOM-3821.
3. Power on AOM-3821. It will automatic enter recovery mode to upgrade system.
4. If upgrade success, you will get the message “Please remove SD CARD!!!, wait
5. for reboot” on screen and debug console.
6. Remove SD card

Open PUTTY Tool，Follow the prompts to operate.

Open PUTTY Tool，Check OS Version.
