- 1 一、Create“update.img”
- 1.1 File.Open the RKTool tool in the following link, as shown in the picture below.
- 1.2 Change Tool language in config.ini, please change "Selected: to "2".
- 1.3 Prepare a Mirco SD card of 8GB (for example: 32GB) or more and insert it into the PC. Open the following path and double-click "SD_Firmware_Tool.exe".

一、Create“update.img”
First, extract the image file, and then use the RKTool tool to generate the "update.img" .
Make an SD card (for example: A laptop with Windows 10 PC, system: 22H1)
File.Open the RKTool tool in the following link, as shown in the picture below.
Double'-click the folder "AOM3841A1AIM38DIV110025_2025-09-24 \ ro'ckdev" within "mkupdate. Bat" to run the program, to generate "update. Img" file.
Make an SD card (for example: A laptop with Windows 10 PC, system: 22H1)
For example, the PC used is a laptop. The specifications are as follows：
Please install the DriverAssitant_v5.13 driver first. Double-click the "DriverInstall.exe" program as shown in the following figure.
After successful installation, click "Confirm" and exit the program.
Change Tool language in config.ini, please change "Selected: to "2".
Prepare a Mirco SD card of 8GB (for example: 32GB) or more and insert it into the PC. Open the following path and double-click "SD_Firmware_Tool.exe".
The Mirco SD card has been successfully produced. After clicking "Confirm", exit the program. Remove the Mirco SD card from the PC.
二、Upgrade or Recovery AOM-3841
- Power off AOM-3841.
- Insert the upgrade SD card to AOM-3841.
- Power on AOM-3841. It will automatic enter recovery mode to upgrade system.
- If upgrade success, you will get the message “Please remove SD CARD!!!, wait
- for reboot” on screen and debug console.
- Remove SD card.
